My Assistant Shena

For those of you who have had me shoot you know there is always a little someone hanging around helping me capture these perfect shots.  Sometimes the brunt of the job is holding reflectors, fixing dresses, jumping up and repositioning a child again and again  and sometimes they get to try and capture a little something more as I get the main shot.   It’s a tough job and I am not an easy person to work with but without that person I would be lost.    This past run of wedding’s I was without my first assistant (as she is now running her own business, I know a good eye when I see it 😉 ) and was finding it quite difficult to find another person who had the time and talent to follow me around and know what I needed even before I did.  Luckily an old friend responded to my Facebook request one day and she not only took the job she was really good at it too.  She had no idea what to do but she listened used some trial and error asked lots o questions and got the hang of it.  I have had to use her shots on a few of these slide shows as of late because no matter how good I am I can’t be in every angle at every moment and I need to have the complete story.  But I feel the need to show off this budding new talent and thought those that hire me would like to know what my assistant is capable of.  So here is the highlights of what I call my assistants shots and as you will see she is pretty amazing.
